Please read these terms and conditions if you are unsure of any details regarding Little Door, our products or your purchases.
Lou-La-bell:
Lou-La-bell's cards are all drawn by hand or on an Apple Mac computer and printed on an Inkjet printer. They are handmade and hand cut, this means that if you are ordering more than one of the same item chances are they may all differ slightly. We feel this adds to the product making each one unique.
The cards may have small pieces on them, even children's cards, so whilst they are lovely to look at they are not toys and therefore should not be given to small children under 3 years of age. Warnings are given on hazardous cards.
Gilliannie:
Gilliannie's products are again, all made by hand. Watercolour cards may differ as each one is painted, they are not prints. The scarves are all knitted by hand. They are fully washable but may be unsuitable for small children or people that have an adverse reaction to certain types of wool.
Please dispose of all lables and packaging safely and keep out of children's reach.
Payment:
Payment is by Paypal. It is a secure method of payment. It doesn't cost you, the customer, anything in set up fees etc. You don't even have to have an account.
Once you have selected your items in the shops you will be taken to an external Paypal page where you can complete your transaction using a credit or debit card.
We find this a simple, secure and fast way to pay!
Postage & Packing:
We will aim to dispatch your parcel within 2-3 working days. (Please allow longer at busy periods such as Christmas) Parcels are sent first class standard delivery unless otherwise stated. All product prices include postage and packing unless otherwise stated.
If there is any reason why they may be a delay on your item we will contact you as soon as we are able.
At the moment, Little Door only deliver to the UK
Please note that due to new posting prices and rules, some cards from Lou-La-bell may need to be measured and weighed at the post office when you are sending them. This is mainly cards that have charms etc on the front. If possible we recommend you 'give' these to the recipient to avoid extra cost and the recipient paying underpaid postage and a £1 handling fee to retrieve the item from the sorting office.
Privacy:
We DO NOT pass your details onto a third party. We will not send you spam or junk mail. E-news letters will not be sent to you, the customer, unless you have given us permission to include you on a mailing list.
Paypal is a secure payment site and card or bank details will not be visible to us.
Returns:
Please email returns@littledoor.co.uk if for any reason you are unhappy with your item. Items can be returned up to 14 days after they have been received. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Once items have been received by our returns team, we will refund the original price back to your original method of payment via Paypal.
Please be aware Lou-La-bell's personalised cards can not be returned unless there is a fault on the item. We kindly ask you to check and double check the spellings of names for personalisation to avoid any disappointment.
If an item is faulty please contact us on the returns email address above stating the item's fault.
Environment:
We know the environment is probably an important issue to many of our customers, as it is to us. Lou-La-bell makes sure she recycles by using card and paper cut offs and trinkets for her cards and where paper and card cut offs cannot be used they are put in a paper recycling bin. Ink cartridges are also recycled.
How to use the website:
*Click on the menu to the left or the icons (images) to select what you would like to look at (If, when you roll your mouse cursor over an image or text, a small white hand pointing appears, that is a 'link' meaning you can click on it to take you to another page)
*When viewing a product click on the image to make it bigger then click the white 'X' at the top right hand corner to shrink the image again
*When buying a product, select the quantity by clicking the drop down list next to 'Quantity' and click 'Add to cart'. You will be taken to a 'shopping cart' page.
To continue buying more things click 'Continue Shopping' and you will be taken back to the shop.
To empty your cart of the items you've added so far click 'Empty cart'
To change the quantity's of the items in your basket use the quantity menu next to the item description and then click 'update cart' (you must do this or the cart will refer back to the original amount you selected)
To remove an item from the cart click the 'X' next to the item name/description
The total price is shown for the items in your cart
If you are satisfied with your shopping cart click the yellow 'Checkout with Paypal' button
You will be taken to an external Paypal page. It will have the title 'pay@littledoor.co.uk' at the top
*If you have a Paypal account already you will be asked for your email address and your Paypal password. If you don't have an account but would like one go to www.paypal.com and follow the on screen instructions for setting up an account (it is free and can be used on many sites and for transferring money to family and friends) Then go back to your cart and continue.
*If you don't want to create a Paypal account click on the text 'Continue Checkout' on the left hand side of the page. You will be asked for your details and method of payment. This is a very secure way to make a payment.
You will receive an email of confirmation or a 'receipt' and we will post your item/s within 2-3 working days!
